Cornwall Music Teacher's Choir
We have launched a brand new choir for Cornwall Music Teachers led by our wonderful Cornwall Youth Choirs music team.
Running your own school choir can be challenging especially if you are a reluctant singer or possibly haven't sung in a choir since your school days. Even worse, maybe you were told that you "couldn't sing" but always wanted to? Perhaps you've been asked to lead your own school choir and don't know where to start?
The Cornwall Music Teachers Choir is a brand new unique community singing group, offering a fantastic CPD opportunity. You'll learn hands on choral skills to take back and use with your own school choir through the songs we sing together and at the same time, connect with other like-minded people to raise the roof and SING!
Together we'll develop a singing network in Cornwall that links a passion for singing with professional development.
Led by Angela Renshaw and the Cornwall Youth Choir team.
Sessions will be held on a monthly basis.
After a hugely successful launch to this brand new project, Angela and Matt are looking forward to seeing everyone again and welcoming any new faces during the Autumn term.
The next session is taking place on Saturday 21st September at Truro High School.
Arrive any time from 3.15pm for a cup of tea and sit in the final part of a Cornwall Youth Choir rehearsal. The Friends of CYC will be there to warmly greet you.
We aim to start singing at 3.45pm until 5.30pm.
£5 per session to include all song resources (cash or card)
Total fun, enjoyment, meeting colleagues and creating some fabulous sounds together.
