We are very much a family orientated choir and value all our parents who support us in many ways. We have an established Friends of CYC, a growing team of parent volunteers who give what time they can to help us organise the choirs during the busy Saturday rehearsals as well as running our fundraising campaign.
We are reaching out to all parents and families of choir members to invite you to consider becoming a volunteer for the variety of groups that make up the Cornwall Youth Choirs. These are valued roles contributing in a variety of important ways to our choir family.
The Friends of CYC volunteers can become involved in the more practical day-to-day supportive tasks and those of caring and chaperoning that are required in the main within the full choir Saturday rehearsals working predominantly in the Cornwall Junior Singers, Cornwall Children’s Choir and Cornwall Youth Training Choir. More specific Cornwall Youth Choir volunteers will be needed as we move into larger events looming on the horizon.
You may have a spare hour or afternoon to share with us, on either an ad hoc or more regular basis if this suits you. Whatever, whenever and however you can help us, we would be tremendously grateful and warmly welcome your help!
